A thousand square metres for children. Public work under the same rule as the apartments: it has to survive the people who use it every day, and still be somewhere they want to be.
The brief was a thousand square metres for children: a play area, reading corners, and space that has to survive daily use without ever feeling institutional. Sage and mint foam play blocks sit against slatted timber screens and a book display wall, the same discipline the studio brings to a private apartment applied to a room built for a hundred children rather than one family.
